We’re getting our house painted soon. It’s very expensive, and not something we plan to repeat. So, we want to get it right! We don’t like the current colors, and we’ve spent hours with the Gimp image editing program and with Rodda paint swaths to come up with a set of candidate color combos.
If you want to help out, please rank our 4 candidates from 1 to 4, with 1 being the best. Thanks!
Candidate A – Original colors

Candidate B – Sage Tinged / Dark Berry

Candidate C – Western Pursuit / Whisper of White

Candidate D – Deep Spice / Kitty Kitty

I (respectfully) decline to participate in decisions about color. (TM)

I like B! With C as second. Good luck!

I think option C. But I gotta say, option D could be a wild choice! :) I love the brightness of it but I just wonder you would tire of it faster than you would with more neutral colors.

I would go with D, as it actually shows a bit of personality. Too many (most) houses in Seattle are grey or beige (as in choice B). Seattle skies are too grey on a general basis to paint you house grey. Add some color. C seem a bit dark, perhaps, but it could just be the Gimping. A has a bit of color to it; too bad it’s a bad color. It looks a bit like split pea, at least on the wide-angle shot. So, I guess I’d rank them as D, C, A, B.

C, B, D, A. But if you made the trim on D the same purple color as the door? Then it might win. Though “Kitty Kitty” is an awesome name for a paint…
Exciting no matter what, though! Yay painting!

Thanks for all the help, everybody! Will now tabulate results and waffle more. Considering also D with a light orange trim, and will try Kynthia’s suggestion of D with matching trim to door.
